It is valid for up to 90-days with a stay of about 7 to 14 days.  The Tourism Council of Bhutan issues the visa.

Note that an individual cannot directly apply for Bhutan Tourist Visa. The local and authorized tour operator of Bhutan booked the tour package on your behalf. A local tour operator can be booked directly or through a foreign travel agent.

Processing time for a Bhutan Tourist Visa

In maximum cases, the tourism council will process and approve a visa within 72 hours. But in certain situations, it will take about 10 to 15 days for visa processing.

It will cost the US $40 per person. The Cost is usually included in your travel package, so you do not need to pay for it separately.
