      How to get a Zambia Student Visa?

      If you are not from any visa-exempt country, you need to apply for a Zambia Student Visa if you want to enter Zambia for study purposes, also known as a Student Permit. Before applying for a student visa, you must have an acceptance letter from the chosen Zambian educational institute.

      The Zambian government also provides an online facility for the visa application process for everyone. When you apply online, you will be provided with the full list of required documents according to your nationality and the purpose of your visit.

      You need to have the following documents to get a Zambia Student Visa.

      1. Valid passport

      2. Passport-size picture

      3. A letter of acceptance from an educational institution in Zambia

      4. Police clearance from your native country

      5. A Cover letter directed to the Chief Immigration Office

      6. Proof of enough financial means

      7. Evidence that shows accommodation in Zambia

      The processing time for a student visa for Zambia depends on your nationality and the method of applying. Usually, it will take about three days to visa processing when you apply for a visa online, but when at an embassy, it will take about 5-6 days for visa processing.
