To study in Morocco, you will need to apply for a student visa.

Who does not need a Morocco visa?

Usually, it depends on your nationality, whether you need to apply for a visa or not. If you are a resident of one of the following countries, you do not need a visa for Morocco. You are allowed to stay in the state for up to 90 days without a visa. You only need a passport and a return flight ticket to enter the country. If your course of study is more than 90-days, you need to apply for a visa extension at the closest police office in Morocco.

How to get a Morocco Student Visa?

If you are not from any country listed above, you need to apply for a visa to enter Morocco. There are different types of Morocco visas. But if you want to study in Morocco, all you need to have a Morocco Student Visa. It is a type of long-term Morocco visa and allows you to enter the state for the study purposes for more than 90-days. It can be issued for both single or multiple entries. Before applying for a Morocco Student Visa, you must have an acceptance letter from any Morocco educational institution. 

Just after your arrival, you also need to apply for a residence permit if you want to stay in the state for longer than 90-days. You can apply for a residence permit only if you have a Morocco Student Visa.

Note that you cannot apply for a residence permit if you enter the state by a Morocco Tourist Visa.

What will be the requirements for a Morocco Student Visa?

You will need to have the following documents to get a student visa for Morocco.

1. Completed Morocco Student Visa Application Form

2. Valid passport 

3. Photocopies of your passport

4. Passport-size photo

5. Proof of accommodation in Morocco

6. Documentation that shows sufficient financial funds

7. Travel insurance document

8. Evidence that shows Morocco visa fee payment

9. Acceptance letter from the Morocco educational institution

What will be the processing time for a Morocco Student Visa?

It will take at least two weeks for visa processing. But if you miss any document, the processing time can be doubled.

What will be the cost of a Morocco Student Visa?

It will cost for one entry up to $22.10, and for two entries, it will be around $33.20.

Can you apply for a Morocco Visa Online?

You are eligible to apply for a Morocco visa online only if you are a resident of one of the following countries.

• Republic of the Congo
• Guinea
• Mali

Note that after your application is accepted, you have to show it at the entry point in Morocco as well as when you leave the state.
