Everyone who wants to study in Colombia needs to apply for a Colombia Student Visa. It is a type of Colombia Migrant Visa (M). It will allow you to study and live in Colombia for up to three years, and it can be renewed. Before applying for a student visa, you must have an acceptance letter from a concerned Colombian educational institution. You can apply for a student visa at the nearest Colombian embassy in your native country.
After you arrive in Colombia, you need to visit the local immigration authorities to register your stay within 15 days of your arrival. If you stay in Colombia for more than three months, you will get a Foreigners ID Card after registration.
